CGNS Python Modules

The Python modules you find here are related to CGNS. At least two packages can be useful for your CGNS Python applications. The first is pyCGNS, it is a simple Python wrapper for the CGNS APIs. The second is pyC5, it is an XML-based compiler that can produce/check CGNS files. Go to the download page to get the latest source tarball.

Other packages, such as pyMpCCI are not 100% related to CGNS but these are used in my CGNS applications and may they may be useful examples for python+CGNS users. You may also find some CGNS utilities in there.

These pages are also containing general information about CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), Python itself, CGNS of course and other stuff such as XML or code-coupling. You can refer to the following web sites if you want more information about the techs we are using. These links are also available on every page, in the top banner. Please also visit the web site of ONERA the CGNS pioneer in Europe.
